: This is a great article Charles. I really love the point about network with prospects rather than networking to get prospects. After all if you put out entertaining, enlightening, or educational content prospects will find their way back to our site where we can network till our heart's content.

Boston has many vegan and vegetarian-friendly restaurants. Last night the boyfriend and I ate dinner at Ten Tables in Jamaica Plain. This cozy, intimate restaurant (it actually has eleven tables) has been on our to do list for awhile, but we don’t often get to JP for dinner. We had a great time and Boston has many similar c (Read More)

: OK, OK, you've convinced me! I have to take a trip to Boston! :-) The picture of the meal you ate looks absolutely luscious! I especially like the idea of eating produce 'in season' because we're more likely to eat local that way. Even at Whole Foods I notice produce from places like Chile and Guatemala and I know the controls on organic aren't nearly as stringent there so we don't really know what we're getting. Local produce is much safer.

Have you ever ended a day with your energy ebbing then looked over all the check-marks on the day’s task list but still don’t feel like much was accomplished?
I know I have and when thinking back over the day’s events, I often feel confused about where all the time was spent. (Read More)
: I agree. Twitter, Facebook and social media activities, including email are incredibly time consuming.
I decided sometime ago - task firsts. I don't turn on my email, twitter or facebook until other tasks are done first.
Then I allocate 1hr only max - less if possible to answering emails, then attend to social media. Social Media according to experts is the 'now' genre that we should be paying attention to, but like everything - I consider that to be the 'cream' of a business, the backbone are your real tasks!
: Hi great topic and well spotted ... and the main reason I built a website to cover this debate of over working when sitting in-front of your computer ... but instead of relaxing I do a routine of 5, 10, or 15 minute simple health exercises that keep me and my joints in flow and my mind and body flexible ... I no sitting for long periods at our computers can not be good for our bodies in the long haul ... how about you? ... Relax for 15 to 30 minutes after each block of time is completed by taking a real break from your workspace (so it does not mean check email or Twitter!). You’ll end up being refreshed and ready for the next project task.

Many businesses start out by relying on credit cards and a healthy line of credit from home equity. These businesses might use credit when it needs to purchase something for the business or to keep the business from falling apart when customers took their sweet time paying their bills or the business allows payment (Read More)
: You are 100% correct that a business must stay on top of its credit in order to stay afloat! In a recent conversation with my tax accountant I discovered that even he is in a crunch due to clients not paying. They all blame it on the economy, but that's not fair to the professional who has done the work. From the business owner's perspective, it's wise to not complete large assignments without at least partial payment. Credit is truly a double-edged sword which can really hurt is we're not careful.

A quick review of cash flow — it's the cash your company actually has available (not the cash you're waiting on from clients) to pay expenses, salaries, rent, equipment, and payables.Three key things about having cash:* Your company can't stay in business without enough cash.* Your company can't grow without cash.* Your com (Read More)
: The best thing that happened to my business was the economy slowing down. I got to really take apart my expenses and eliminating some programs that weren't working and found other vendors that were less expensive. My monthly business expenses went down and I increased my cash flow by switching to more effective revenue generators. A little creativity can go a long way.

As I mentioned on the last post, every single site I’ve been on that has Internet marketing tools say THEY have the very best material for you in every way. They all say the same thing, so how do you as a new marketer determine what is right for you?A rating of the material with regards to necessary prerequisite skills wou (Read More)
Great points regarding the plethora of material out on the “Web”, some free, some low cost, some set free or low with an instant upsell, some pricey to begin with; the variations are almost endless. Though I agree that you have to be careful when searching for resources, a little research can provide great insight. I always find it helpful to then ask friends about their experiences (and remember that a true friend won’t instantly pitch you with their link) then make my decision.
While there aren’t too many tools/resources that fit the “one size fits all” label, there are a few that do.
: Hi five readers ... most times if you are not sure what you've bought into because of the parting of money? its because you could be so excited you rush through the instructions rip the box open try and fit all the bits together before you totally understand how it should fit together ... sound familiar so far mmmmmm in other words I'm guessing some folks don't give tools there proper run through or try out before they are panicking and stamping on the floor and demanding their money back ... it takes two to tango ... after all most times you can simply get a refund or only pay the one month I'm finding these days its more than likely most sellers are honest and just trying to help its can be the buyers fault expecting to much?

: As a nurse who is familiar with sleep studies I can completely agree with your article. It seems trivial to not get enough sleep but i can agree that it is not at all trivial. Right sided heart failure is associated with sleep disorders. It is very important to seek medical advice concerning insomnia and sleep disorders. Thanks for this article!
: It seems to me that in addition to having rhythms disrupted proper supplementation would help with some of these symptons, such as sleep apnea ( weight is often a big issue), calcium and magnesium. I would also, however, recommend enough hours of uninterrupted sleep, such as getting to bed at a decent hour.
: Interesting! I've worked nights for 17 years now, and while I do sleep well, I remain perpetually tired. I do find that staying on a good healthy diet along with supplements that I do much better.

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke arrogantly refuses to tell Senator Bernie Sanders which banks were in receipt of government loans and why only large greedy incompetent multinational organizations are allowed access to loans, while small and medium-sized businesses are left to rot. (Read More)
: It is incomprehensible why those benefiting from taxpayers money to clean up the mess they created are not held accountable and are protected when ordinary folks are kicked out from their homes by the same banks when they are a few months in arrears...

: When doing any business online, you should take note of every single detail especially if there are payments to be made. When we touch a hot object our hand retracts quickly. This is called a reflex action. The nerves in the finger send a message to the spinal cord, the message is returned, pull away. : I never knew that - I think most people are aware of the 'bend your knees, not your back', I was aware of the effects that stress has on my body, especially my neck and shoulders. I would never have associated some of the foods that we eat to be stress factors that can cause our muscles and spine to come out of alignment.
: food and how if effects our body is very interesting and i just love it when you eat something and you feel the posotive effects on your body. we have tuned out for far to long.
: I was not aware that the sugar-insulin reaction in the body was related to a reflex, but am aware that too much sugar from bad carbs is not healthy. It is interesting how we have all that we need in the body to take care of itself, and yet we find ways (even unknowingly) to abuse that. Our bodies are wonders but we don't seem to know how best to take care of them, or are not willing to learn.
