Boston’s Best Vegetarian Restaurants

Submitted by Heartsmart: Boston has many vegan and vegetarian-friendly restaurants. Last night the boyfriend and I ate dinner at Ten Tables in Jamaica Plain. : OK, OK, you've convinced me! I have to take a trip to Boston! :-) The picture of the meal you ate looks absolutely luscious! I especially like the idea of eating produce 'in season' because we're more likely to eat local that way. Even at Whole Foods I notice produce from places like Chile and Guatemala and I know the controls on organic aren't nearly as stringent there so we don't really know what we're getting. Local produce is much safer.

: I agree. Twitter, Facebook and social media activities, including email are incredibly time consuming.

I decided sometime ago - task firsts. I don't turn on my email, twitter or facebook until other tasks are done first.

Then I allocate 1hr only max - less if possible to answering emails, then attend to social media. Social Media according to experts is the 'now' genre that we should be paying attention to, but like everything - I consider that to be the 'cream' of a business, the backbone are your real tasks!

: Hi great topic and well spotted ... and the main reason I built a website to cover this debate of over working when sitting in-front of your computer ... but instead of relaxing I do a routine of 5, 10, or 15 minute simple health exercises that keep me and my joints in flow and my mind and body flexible ... I no sitting for long periods at our computers can not be good for our bodies in the long haul ... how about you? ...
Relax for 15 to 30 minutes after each block of time is completed by taking a real break from your workspace (so it does not mean check email or Twitter!). You’ll end up being refreshed and ready for the next project task.

All my best to you and yours

: You are 100% correct that a business must stay on top of its credit in order to stay afloat! In a recent conversation with my tax accountant I discovered that even he is in a crunch due to clients not paying. They all blame it on the economy, but that's not fair to the professional who has done the work. From the business owner's perspective, it's wise to not complete large assignments without at least partial payment. Credit is truly a double-edged sword which can really hurt is we're not careful.

: Hi Brenda,

Great points regarding the plethora of material out on the “Web”, some free, some low cost, some set free or low with an instant upsell, some pricey to begin with; the variations are almost endless. Though I agree that you have to be careful when searching for resources, a little research can provide great insight. I always find it helpful to then ask friends about their experiences (and remember that a true friend won’t instantly pitch you with their link) then make my decision.

While there aren’t too many tools/resources that fit the “one size fits all” label, there are a few that do.

: Hi five readers ... most times if you are not sure what you've bought into because of the parting of money? its because you could be so excited you rush through the instructions rip the box open try and fit all the bits together before you totally understand how it should fit together ... sound familiar so far mmmmmm in other words I'm guessing some folks don't give tools there proper run through or try out before they are panicking and stamping on the floor and demanding their money back ... it takes two to tango ... after all most times you can simply get a refund or only pay the one month I'm finding these days its more than likely most sellers are honest and just trying to help its can be the buyers fault expecting to much?

just a thought

: When doing any business online, you should take note of every single detail especially if there are payments to be made. Even those that offer money-back guarantees and trial periods still have some tricks to make you pay a whole lot more than what you expect! People who are looking for extra income online are usually the helpless victims of such promotions. I'm sure many are now aware of these scams, thanks for sharing your story.

It is interesting how we have all that we need in the body to take care of itself, and yet we find ways (even unknowingly) to abuse that. Our bodies are wonders but we don't seem to know how best to take care of them, or are not willing to learn.
