Just saw Starkenberger Brewery’s “Beer Pool” featured on the Travel Channel (yes, its a slow night here). Apparently, they’ve converted their old open fermentation vats into “pools” and charge €135 for a two hour soak. This years hops are doing great. I plan to harvest some this week for a batch of homebrew. The best part about growing them up to a deck is that you can harvest them more like berries, picking cones as they are ready rather than timing the harvest for an entire hop bine.
