: I just got a "status update" on facebook that Socorro Springs Brewery in Socorro, NM (where I used to go to college)is also using twitter to announce special deals. They have a large selection of food and about 10 rotating brews, and for those people that receive their "tweets" through text message can come in show the text message and they're doing deals like $1 pizza or $2 pints. The interesting thing is the community is only ~18k people and this advertisement scheme seems to be focused at the college students that attend the mainly science and engineering school in town.
