: This is an overstated article. Its true, social media is important to the exposure of every organization. I like what it has to say, but it could have been presented in smaller increments. Thanks for the information. Alice Stanforth Remember, we are thinking of you, at www.thinkingofyouinc.com.
: I read the article. At the end of the article, there was a link to the actual research, "adobe", that was done for this article. It was very informative. It covered a full spectrum of online marketing. The adobe file made this worth reading. The article itself was vague. Thanks. www.thinkingofyouinc.com

I posted this last week, but an IE bug was causing problems with it.  Turns out the original image was causing the problem (a photo of Gary V…who knew he’d take our blog down ;-). here’s the repost.I just finished watching Gary Vaynerchuk’s video explaining how word-of-mouth marketing is changing and what this means for b (Read More)

Over here in Australia we’re not quite as progressive or savvy as many of our US and European counterparts. We’re not pitchfork wielding hicks (despite what the British say), yet we tend to lag a few years behind global best practice. Subsequently, when it comes to social media, many businesses are just beginning to wake up (Read More)

: Thanks for the feedback guys. It's interesting to hear your thoughts regarding the gap between Australia, the US & Europe. I haven't worked overseas, so can't comment from personal experience. But I do work for one of Australia's largest digital marketing agency's, so get constant exposure to the practices of some of the country's largest brands. The word underwhelmed comes to mind :)
: This is a great article. It gives a visual that makes it simple to understand the importance of social networking. I wish that this article was available, when I first started my business. Thanks Alice. Remember, we are thinking of you at www.thinkingofyouinc.com.
: Everyone needs to watch the videos. The creators use the words experiment and test. It doesn't sound like they are thinking through the possibilities. It's creating a monster and then thinking you can just turn it off. I don't think so.
: I am excited about this. I saw it on the discovery channel, all day yesterday. They kept replaying it. It is the longest and boring show I have seen, too many facts for me. I kept falling asleep or getting pulled away before the end. For someone else, that understands this stuff, I know this was a wonderful show. I just wanted to see the bang, and I wanted them to analyze it. I aquaint this to a child watching fireworks on tv, they don't want to see the crowds or the advertisements.

You may remember the name John Tuggle of Learning Guitar Now. He was the subject of my small business success story on Search Engine Land back in April. His guitar teaching business wasn’t going anywhere until John decided to jump headfirst into what you’d call Web 2.0 Marketing: blogging, doing a podcast, putting videos on (Read More)

: I read this article. It is a great success story. But, near it, on the same page is a like to the small business pyramid. Excellent reading, for anyone starting a business. It has a lot of comments about search engines, and common mistakes. I would go back a read it just for that. Thanks for the article. Al
