Submitted by Jasongoldberg: By now you have probably seen the news from last Friday that socialmedian is being acquired by the business networking site, XING, and that I'll be moving to Hamburg to help drive some of XING's key product initiatives in 2009.So, what does that mean for socialmedian in 2009?The short answer is: More and Better.socialmedia (Read More)

@jasongoldberg The headline of each clip should link to the original source, not a slightly longer summary.

Barack Obama vs. Hillary Clinton -- why Obama is the wrong choice
Apr 10, 2008

Submitted by Jasongoldberg: Democrats should remember that we are the party that stands for counting all the votes, not ignoring them. There are still millions of votes to be counted, including from big states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Florida. Democrats should remember that we are the party of ideas and substance. : No one knows better than me that John McCain isn't the best candidate by any means. He has a clear agenda on Iraq that isn't particularly a good thing for our economy or our men and women on the front lines. However, I would rather sleep at night over the next four years knowing that Hillary and John would be vigilant in keeping our borders and our citizens safe. I cannot in good conscience vote along party lines for a candidate who I feel is ignoring the issue of American security. No matter who is President, or from what party, we have enemies who would like nothing more than to bring our country to its knees. Remember the ideas that we express here are the same ideas that make other people hate us as Americans. No one wants another four years of Republican mayhem however no one wants another 9-11 either. I look forward to 2012 when this one is behind us. No one said this election would be easy.

: I will sleep well knowing that McCain will keep our borders safe like Bush and Clinton did in the years leading up to 9/11.

By making Iraq the central front in the war on terror, we will ensure that terrorists in Iraq never again attack us like they did on 9/11. (Or was it Iran? I get the two confused.)
