: One of the most annoying cases of Google's georedirection: I take my computer to Germany I go to Google.com and it automatically comes up with google.de entirely in German. It's not because I'm currently in German that I speak/read German. Of course it's even worse when I'm in Greece and it automatically redirects me to google.gr in Greek with characters I can't even read! It's simple: if I enter google.com in my URL that's where I want to go no matter where my computer may be located physically at the time.
