: I've been looking at Twitter as a new source. There are some breaking news people I follow and I get info pretty quick. I've also been playing with Tweetdeck. It's really great, but doesn't work 100% for what I need. I'm going to keep experimenting with Twitter as a news source. I don't think I'll ever abandon Google Reader, though.

: First... one of my sons is gay. We, my wife and I, have no problem with it. He was born this way and medically, he can't change, not that we want that because we love him just the way he is. For myself, when growing up, I like many others were led to believe it was wrong BUT since I've educated myself I realize how much utter stupidity exists. Even some of the religious people have strong negative feelings and thoughts about gay people and they spread their prejudice points of view all over the place. This irritates me to the extent that My wife and I have become agnostics. These religions that turn away from gays worship a god that hey claim accepts everyone so why not gays. They are true hypocrites. IF god created us, as they claim, he also created gays to live among us. Gays can't procreate, as couples, and only want the same marital privileges that marriage provides for heterosexuals.As Forrest Gump's grandmother said "Stupid IS as Stupid DOES" !!! And Boy.... are people in today's culture STUPID. 1
