: Since I've never played golf in my life, I'm not sure how this GPS is considered by other golfers? But one thing is sure: getting accurate feedback always helps to improve our performance and it seems to me that is what these devices do? At the very least, they're suitable for practicing.

Yes. Today I have a really bad case of garlic breath. It's so bad that I can hardly stand myself. Last night we had dinner at a friend's house and I enjoyed something that I haven't had for several years - baked garlic. Today I remember why it has been so long. (Read More)

: Garlic breath isn't exactly hopeless, but I know that if I were on a date with Harrison Ford I wouldn't be eating it! :-) It's such a delicious vegetable - it's too bad that it's so hard on our breath. Nothing else even comes close, although onions are a close second.

Interesting question isn’t it?Read the short post below and listen to the podcast above and see why I believe a lot of people really don’t know the answer! Many people seem to think that if household cleaning products (or other products for that matter) contain chemicals, they must be toxic, unsafe or not earth-friendly. Pa (Read More)
: You absolutely correct that the word chemical doesn't necessarily equal "bad". After all, we eat chemicals every single day. These vague terms like 'chemical', 'organic', 'natural', etc. are totally unhelpful and often misleading. As always, the only way to protect ourselves and understand what's going on is to educate ourselves. No one is going to take that responsibility for us - nor should they.
: Perfectly safe? Really green? Hmm ... perhaps a better question would be, "Regardless of marketing claims, do you (the consumer) know how to safely, and resposibly use any product?
I was around during the early years of the "eco-movement", which was the fore runner of what we all know today as the "natural, green, enviro-friendly movement".
The common thread between both trends was their lamentation over the greater enphasis on marketing of products for convenience over personal accountability.
The only truely natural, green, earth friendly is the acts of a people whos focus is on personal accountability. This is the only thing that can create such an ideal environment for all.

We’ve all likely done it, run out the door on a hot summer’s day after forgetting to anoint all exposed skin areas with our favorite sunscreen or other means of sunburn prevention. In a few hours we start to notice several of the exposed areas feel warm and tight then later … wham, the full effects of the sunburn hit home! (Read More)

: Hi five folks - tell me these "Green Home Sunburn Remedies from the Kitchen" are a joke right i.e. - Add ½ to 1 cup oatmeal to the cooled bathwater - seems a strange thing to do?
: Just reading about a 'brown crust' makes me hurt. I can't even imagine how severe a sunburn has to be to create such a condition - and I got burned a few times in my reckless youth. Prevention is always better than treatment.

Only one percent of people are lucky enough to escape the symptoms of a headache in their lives. In fact, more than ninety percent of humans experience at least one headache per year. : I have had mostly tension headaches in my 47 years and can fortunately can only remember a couple of times when they seemed more like a migraine headache, with some of the same symptoms you listed here under migraines. Having experienced that, I have great sympathy for folks that have frequent headaches. It really does affect quality of life.
