We have entered the worst economic crisis since the 1930’s and it doesn’t look like it will end for some time. Moves by governments around the world of developed countries have resulted in a stability of sorts, but it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to work out that pumping tax payer money into a problem fundamentally caused b (Read More)

: Hi five folks - seems like we have these uneconomical down turns every 10 years - if you think back to the last one especially in the UK - the people that get voted in to run countries don't seem to keep their eyes on the ball - all they seem to be interested in is pleasing the voters with short term gains and not steering towards a safer and secure future for all - its more - all for one as in it for them selves its a disgrace -
: Yes, it's almost as if the middle class won't even exist in the near future unless things take a major turn around. Almost like going back in time, just the "rich" and the "poor".

The Importance of Over Delivering. In the good old olden days of online prospecting similar to the gold rush days of the picks & shovel marketing stories the spark that ignited the gold rush occurred in May 1848 when Sam Brannan, a storekeeper in Sutter’s Creek, brandished a bottle filled with gold dust around San Francisc (Read More)

: Yes, with out doubt, delivering as much value to your prospects and customers is extremely important. It builds trust and loyalty, which in turn will always improve your business.
: Over-delivering is a great strategy as long as you maintain high quality. As with every business customer service is a key element to keep customer. A happy customer will always come back.

: This has been my experience with network marketing as well. The company I represent has been based on the Golden Rule since it began 53 years ago. I think if everyone helps each other, we all receive benefits. Online, we can help other marketers in all kinds of ways, and learn from others as well.
: You're so right Steve. In the churn and burn world of traditional business one rule stands head and shoulders above the rest: find some way to keep from competing with others in your general industry or die. In this age of daily emerging MLMs the most sensible way to enact this golden rule is to let the others duke it out for market attention while quietly helping wherever possible. No one in that fracas will ever notice … at least until they see where their clients are going. ;-)

Most of us are at least partly concerned with the types of chemicals found in household products we use on a daily basis and the potential health impacts associated with different types of exposure. One problem we often encounter when researching both the chemicals in household products as well as the health risks associated (Read More)

: Most of the chemicals found in household products have not been tested for long-term side effects. We already know that there are short-term health impacts with these toxins and chemicals, some very serious, but we do not know the full extent. It is great to have resources online to access information that should be very important to us.
: Hi five folks - people today are over the top to clean in their selves and there environments - our bodies need to have a strong defense that's for sure to combat the germs that live on our planet so wiping them out with all these cleaning products don't give of immune systems a chance to build defenses against what nature intended - no wonder the hospitals are jammed packed with minor illness huh!
: Thanks for pointing us to this valuable source of information. You're right that these days there's all kinds of information available, but it's hard to tell what's legitimate and what's not.

There is a mentoring program that weekly reads a chapter from Think and Grow Rich by, Napoleon Hill. We just finished the chapter on the subconscious mind and are now onto the chapter of the brain. (Chapters 12 and 13). (Read More)

: I think what has been said in the article is applicable in everything we do. Our subconscious mind is indeed very powerful. Most of us don't get to realize how it can affect our actions. It is very good then to train our subconscious mind on what to absorb and accept. Having a positive outlook in life greatly helps for you to have a well subconscious mind. Strive to be a positive person!
: What is so excellent about this book is that it is still relevant today. Our subconscious mind is something we have to be so aware of - we just don't realise how powerful this can be, positively and negatively.

Smokers seem to have to justify that what they are doing should be considered okay. Unfortunately, every time someone is smoking a cigarette, they are also affecting the people around them with second hand smoke, not to mention the damage smoke does to walls, furniture and more. (Read More)

: I often wonder about the pressures from others whenever we're trying to escape a bad habit, whether smoking or anything else. I think part of it is guilt - even the most avid smoker can't pretend it's a healthy habit and if someone else leaves the smoking fraternity, it's a reminder that they need to do likewise.
: Boy can I relate to this. Being a smoker for so many years, and having tried quitting many times I can tell you it is very tough being around other smokers. As smokers we do realize that it's harmful to others around us, and most of us are willing to accommodate as much as we can. It's one nasty habit, I'd wished I'd never started for sure!
: I know that water is very important to our health and longevity, and I love to drink water. In fact, water is what I mostly drink. It always amazes me when I talk to people who don't drink much water. The hidden calories and high sugar of many drinks is not only unhealthy but not good for our minds or spirits either. You have showed many reasons why we should WANT to drink water. I will pass along this information.
: You probably don't want to drink too much water and dilute the sodium in your body - hyponatremia. Too much water can lead to water intoxication which basically is electrolyte imbalance and tissue swelling in the body. So take the article with a grain of salt (!)
: It's often really amazing how with all of the different products out there being advertised that will help us to look younger longer, it sometimes really just comes down to good old natural stuff. Water in this case. I really like your sites and find them very informative.

: 7 years is an impressive amount of research for a furniture design. Comfort and support of my back are the most important considerations in my world and it seems that your chair would fulfill those two 'musts'. And it's nice looking, too!
: as i write this i am amping and sitting in a chair that is really not doing my back any good. its space saving etc but a chair is for sitting in after all and it has to be comfortable.

: Our bodies function according to what we feed them. It would make sense to me that eating healthy would help all people at all times. We do know that certain foods and ingredients trigger specific menopause symptoms. If a women does not want to have those symptoms she should stay away. We have so much information available to us now that women before us did not have. We should take advantage, especially if it will help us.

: I heard something last week on a webinar about leadership that it may take a while to make a decision but then it should not take much time to put it into action. It makes sense to take the time to make the right decision, not forever though. And you are right, you can make changes. The key for leadership is action.
: Yes, all the great leaders that I've met lead with action. At least if we act we can then respond to the feedback mechanism that tells us if we are on the right track or not. Just thinking is a closed circuit where no useful feedback can ever come back.
