You have pricked my thoughts ... Sooo now I will be using this line to "get ready to say Hi to Google" thanks a bundle for your excellent blog http://internetmlm.squarespace.com/
Once upon a time the way to get Google to notice you was to know all about technical search engine optimization (SEO) That's still important but the very best way to wave Hi! to Google is to bring in your subscribers.
All my best to you and who-ever your saying hello to Phillip Skinner
: Google your proposed blog post headline or the keyword you are targeting to get an idea about how many pages you will be competing against but also to see examples of headlines that successfully attracted the attention of audiences. Dennis's thoughtful advice will ensure that your headlines get noticed and rise in the search engines vis-a-vis others.
: "Look at thought leaders like Chris Brogan or Seth Godin. One of the reasons for their amazing reputations is the fact that they are an overwhelmingly positive force in a negative world. People crave those who inspire them, and both of these individuals do that with stars. The right kind of leaders are never negative."
: Good advice. Don't shoot your mouth off unless your brains are loaded. For me, the challenge is telling people what they NEED to hear, in a way that they WANT to hear it.

This tool gives you a free SEO analysis of your website in 20 areas of popularity, relevancy and site structure. It takes about 20 seconds for the application to determine your score, from 0 to 100. The full analysis is a non-technical explanation of how to improve your score. (Read More)
: This tool worked pretty well as soon as I realized that it didn't want me to input the full URL. I had to eliminate the 'http://' part before it would run. It would be nice to put a little example text on the page or, even better, reprogram it so it doesn't care whether or not the 'http://' is included. The current situation where you get an error message with no explanation is disconcerting.
In any case, providing this seems like an effective marketing tactic. I may just have to copy it!
: @rickdavis I guess it depends on what you were found for :) Many companies I work with can't even come up in the search results with their own names, but some do. You can try to change the content on your page, along with your meta data and see if that helps you over time. It works for me: do a search for "better marketing performance" :)
: that is a really nice tool, think it highlighted a few problems with my site that i am aware of, in particular the structure would benefit with a more silod approach ...

: This info has got to be 9crt gold ... thanks for sharing Overall, Facebook’s demographics reveal some interesting trends which bear mentioning. On average, the ratio of male to female Facebook users is .85, meaning that there are significantly more Female facebook users than male ones. This plays out with general trends in social networking gender demographics, which tend to show a predominantly female base of users.
Looking deeper and viewing Facebook’s gender demographics on a national basis, though, we find some stark differences which break down along less obvious lines. The three most “feminine” countries, Russia, Poland, and Lithuania, are all European countries, each with a ratio of almost 2 female Facebook users for every male facebook user. In fact, the majority of large European countries are neutral or leaning feminine, with the notable exception of Turkey, which shows a strong male demographic.
For Western English speaking countries the ratio of males to females was very similar with about 40-45% male and 55-60% female.
