This motivational speaker totally freaked me out! In the video clip Dr. Steve Bedwell teaches business executives how to resist their psychological drive for closure. And he proves his point by swallowing an inflated balloon! Check this out, you won't believe it!. (Read More)

: Yeah, good point here. How many of us have an agenda when were talking with a new prospect or contact. Take the time to build a relationship. That leaves the door open for new beginnings.
: I think humans have a very strong need to know why and how. We have a hard time simply being in the "unknown" or the "mystery", which is the same to me as wanting closure.

When considering MLM compensation plans every network marketing professional wants to know how they can make the most residual income in the shortest time possible. They want to know how they and their downline team can retire most efficiently, so they ask two questions. (Read More)

: Hi five folks - when I tried MLM what I was taught was especially with certain products and depending on which products chosen - was its best if you use the product yourself so you understood what it was all about before you sold it on to a customer because some how I was told the prospect would be more in tune with you if you honestly spoke about the product from experience and I think I got the message back from my own customers with repeat orders - some how the pay structure was the last thought in my mind and thats probably the reason I drifted away from MLM I should have read a post like yours before I went in to MLM - then MLM might have turned out differently - what i did like about the MLM biz was the enthusiasm spread by the most successful dealers in this MLM industry it was very refreshing and a buzz going to the distributors meetings a lot of marketing knowledge can be learned through this kind of salesmanship model -
: I agree that all MLM compensation plans are flawed you just have to find one that you can live with. All these plans sound great in the beginning but somehow all them money seems to go to just a few.

: The internet gives us the power to connect with virtually anyone, and more importantly, to connect with people that can teach us, mentor us, and empower us to be great at whatever we want. It is an opportunity like no other in my opinion.
I really like your point about looking for people that are on fire about what they do and supporting them. Although it may take a few years, supporting a network of enthusiastic, positive people could lead to all sorts of incredible openings down the track.
: This is a great article and I agree with the people you hang around will have a great influence on where you go in life. If you are not happy where you are at, change the situation so you are happy.

: It was funny to see 'needing a hubby' from a guy. :-) Your article is spot on, though, because just getting a name on your list doesn't mean much of anything. This is even more true in the age of social media where the buyer has all the power. Consumers have gotten much more savvy and are demanding high quality products and excellent customer service. All honest biz owners should applaud this development.

: There is a huge market for green businesses now. The people are very concerned with the environment and protecting it, but they need people or businesses that are not only concerned for the environment but know what they are doing when installing solar panels for example. We need to stick together in order to save our planet from further damage.
: Wonderful list of ideas, Rita! And guess what. I'm part of a green business that I don't see listed there. I'll tell you a little bit about it.
Have you realized how many plastic bottles from bottled drinking water are thrown away these days? I've heard we have so many to dispose that we actually send some to China to be recycled.
The business I'm now a part of is water ionization. It turns your tap water into pure drinking water just like glacier hexagonal water. Very good for alkalizing your body (no disease can live in an alkaline environment) and very good for going green. Far less pollution when we don't have to dispose of water bottles.

: Wow, I hadn't read about this, I have seen that you can use Twitter not only as a social medium, but also a money making venture.
I think maybe not only is the moral of the story 'think before you tweet' - why is it that you're tweeting in the first place, is it to brand yourself for business, keep in touch with friends and family?
I think with technology the way it is, we've forgotten the good ole days of 'the telephone', not texting or emailing and actually visiting people in person, where one can.
Twitter is now the modern day version of 'bush telegraph'!!
: Twitter is a great way to get the word out of what you are promoting. I really need to learn how to use it more effectively just like many other social networks. Each one is different and many are not easy to use effectively.
: Kudos to your comment, Wellness360. I think there's a word for this amazingly enormous group of humans...Sheeple. And they seem to continue to recruit new herd members at an alarming rate. Sadly, Twitter-joke fodder is a sparkling diamond in the sky for them.

: When doing any business online, you should take note of every single detail especially if there are payments to be made. : I have to say that this is outrageous! Fluoride is nothing more than rat poison! First they add it to the water and now to food. Good old EU for wanting to make the citizens sick so they can sell us more pills that we don't need.
: This is disturbing. I thought Europe was advanced in healthful products next to the US. It just goes to show you, no matter where food comes from you must read the label. Better to grow your own and be a good cook.
