: It was MySpace early in the week, then Facebook on Friday and now Google too coming up with something similar on Monday. These are interesting times, and if these initiatives are executed well, they will immensely help new players compete with the giants - now that they have access to the social graphs.
: Facebook to open the gates with 'Facebook Connect' and Google with 'Friend Connect' will also offer a new technology for members to connect their profile data and authentication credentials to external Web sites. It makes these two new companies the latest major Web site to embrace the concept of data portability, I think.
